Emilia McCarthy is a Canadian actress. She plays Sheriff's daughter in the Netflix television series Hemlock Grove, and Yi in Wild Kratts. She portrays Taylor Dean in Zapped.
Life and Career[]
London Ontario born, Emilia McCarthy has known her passions since she was a child. She is passionate about acting, dancing, and modeling and to energetically pursue "her calls in life" as she refers to them. You can see Emilia in the Netflix original series "Hemlock Grove," playing the part of a fraternal twin, Alyssa Sworn. Her previous credits include a guest-starring role in the highly rated CW series "Beauty and the Beast," and a starring role in made for TV Canadian movies: "Booky's Crush," and "Booky & The Secret Santa." At the age of 8, Emilia had the wonderful opportunity to act alongside Cate Blanchett and Gale Garcia Bernal as Cate's daughter, a role she shared with Elle Fanning, in the Golden Globe Award-Winning film: Babel. Up next, Emilia will star in the upcoming web-series' "Unlikely Heroes" and "Kids' Town." Along with these performing accomplishments, Emilia self-published a book at the age of seven with the help from her father titled "Baby's Wish." Her theatre credits include roles in Hairspray, Aida, Seussical Jr., and Tarantella Cabaret. Emilia is fluent in Spanish, French, and English and her life experiences allow her to switch "culture modes" effortlessly. Emilia's goal is to be an accomplished and respected actor and to eventually pass on her knowledge of the art of acting to young aspiring actors.
